Biosynthesis of ZnO Nanoparticles Using Spirulina platensis Based on Calcination Temperature Changes and Its Antioxidant Activity

The effect of different calcination temperatures on molecular structure, morphology, and antioxidant activity was investigated for Zinc Oxide nanoparticles synthesized using the sol-gel method capping agent Spirulina platensis. prepared nanoparticle ZnO calcined at 160°C, 300°C, 600°C according to results DTA-TGA analysis. characterization samples studied Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Field Emission-Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM). In addition, potential DPPH method. showed that FT-IR XRD confirmed presence with good purity small crystal size found in calcified 600°C. FE-SEM morphology produced are spherics, cubes, nanorods particle sizes range 50 – 150 nm. also higher when compared other temperatures.
